In this film they use a lot of juxta potions to show you the amount of violence happening. The only disadvantage to this is it makes it more unrealistic. Even though the film taken is set for young adults, i believe middle age people would watch this to understand what it's like out there. This would effect people who have families as parents would see this and be more aware of the implications that may be caused when traveling alone.
